Emotional and psychological causes, and what can I do?

Body, mind, and soul interact, as demonstrated by numerous research projects in recent years. The head is our highest and central organ for perceiving and processing impressions from the world.

Migraine , remaining silent in a stressful situation that needs to be changed.

Feelings of guilt, anticipatory anxiety, and the fear of contradicting others may have been triggers. Migraine, a specific type of headache characterized by sudden, throbbing, and usually one-sided pain, can also be a factor. Many sufferers experience pronounced nausea and are sensitive to noise or light. A connection to menstruation is also possible.

Migraines are often a cry for help from the body in people who aren’t doing what they truly want. For example, someone might want to be a singer but has been persuaded by their parents to pursue a different career. Or it can happen to people who blame themselves for contradicting others who exert a strong influence on them. They live completely in someone else’s shadow. Often, they themselves don’t really know what they want. A favorite phrase might be: “I just can’t…”

Headaches and migraines affect a person at a central level. Headaches can be an indication of “overthinking.” It may be misleading to rely solely on analytical thinking.

 

The  half-sided headache  here shows how painful one side of reality is, the roots of which are often found in the one-sidedness of thinking and feeling and in the fixation on a one-sided position.

 

Tension headaches are a way of urging you to truly “relax,” to let go of something (wrong).

When suffering from migraines, it is important to ask yourself the following question:

If all my life circumstances were perfect,
what would I have liked to become?
What would I like to be today?

Find out what’s really holding you back:
What is it in your mindset that’s preventing you from being yourself?
