3I/Atlas – Comet or extraterrestrial spaceship

3I/Atlas, with its ‘three eyes’ or third eye, is currently the talk of the town, and no one knows exactly what it is. It breaks all known rules for comets/asteroids. It represents a unique interstellar phenomenon. Its unusual chemical signatures (high CO₂ and low CO content), as well as its unusual ‘brightness jumps’, its abrupt, partly self-generated glow and its sudden, unnatural colour changes within a few days, provide new insights into comet chemistry.
